Rendon Inn, Safety and Foam Soap

When I was a little girl, I used to spend time on my aunt's ranch. I was in awe of my cousin and sister's abilities to ride a horse with such confidence. My aunt would challenge me to ride a horse that they were just breaking in and I was able to run around without any rules about cars, traffic lights, or dangerous areas. I would help put the horses away and my cousin would walk around making sure that the doors were locked. One time I turned to her and said, "gosh, why is it such a big deal??" My aunt walked in and said, "because you don't want the horses to escape." I was amazed, this was a place where I could come escape, but the horses could not escape. I learned that the thing that would hold them in their stalls was a really good latch. If the latch breaks, so do the horses.

A common fear of people in restrooms is that someone will walk in on them. It's such an awkward moment. You are holding your pants and sort of standing up to scream, "someone is already in here!" The person on the other end feels a little embarrassed and responds, "oh, I am so sorry." There is one tool that puts my mind at ease is a really good lock. Especially one that resembles that of a barn door latch!

Secure latch!
So, ladies and gentlemen, I present you with the bathroom  at Rendon Inn. Rendon Inn features all sorts of fun activities. There are steak nights with really good mash potatoes. It has skee-ball, darts, and karaoke! If you are not careful, you will find yourself there until 2:00 in the morning cheering on a friend who is singing along to Billy Joel's "Piano Man." (I know what you might say, pick a bar that doesn't have games, but that's just not me.) Rendon Inn's staff are friendly and will make good recommendations for what you want. Order a beer you don't like and they will replace it no problem. I like this place is very fun but it can be a little over stimulating with so much going on in a small venue. As I made my way to visit Lou, it was like a breath of peaceful air. All of the noise with from the bar, the smell of cigarette smoke, and the ringings from video poker disappear.

There's foam soap in those containers!
Inside this Lou you find blue doors with really firm latches. I am pretty sure I have seen these in my friends' horse stalls. I walk in, turn around to lock the stall door with a firm, heavy iron latch. I feel safe, I feel secure, and I can take my time. I have no fear that I am in a single bathroom when anyone could turn the door handle that has a lock that kind of works. No horses are escaping here! There are pretty mirrors that hang above each sink and it's spacious. There is no fear that people will be hovering over the mirror to check their makeup. If you want to travel in groups, you can do that in a place where there is a clean bathroom with plenty of room. Now, ladies, they will remind you at every opportunity to please not flush your sanitary napkins down the toilet (honestly, who really does that?). The reminder is welcome especially when you get to wash your hands with foam soap and have other poster reminders, too!! Rendon Inn, check it out.
